Join us for 2 days in beautiful Gower for a wild camping adventure (permission from landowner). This course will not only offer you 2 days great hiking away from mainstream Gower routes, with specific skills training for wild camping and expeditions including:
-Route Planning, Navigation and Personal Safety
- Wild Camping Gear Choices and Use
- The Law and Access Considerations
- Environmental Issues
- Leading groups
There will also be plenty of time during the day to ask any questions walking related. The course is also particularly suitable for people leading walking groups or considering following a qualification route.

LOWLAND LEADER ASSESSMENT
APRIL 18TH & 19TH 2020 2 DAY COURSE £180 PP This qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking. The opportunities for Lowland Leaders are varied and far reaching, from the Gower, South West Coast Path to the Great Glen Way; walking in lowland areas can be no less spectacular than walking high up in the mountains. This course is not provided by Tread Gower. The approved Provider and course director is Andy Cummings of Manzoku.
